FragPunk Season 2 – Everything Coming in the New Chapter (June 2025)
The wait is over — FragPunk Season 2 is packed with massive updates, fresh content, and limited-time events. From new skin features and DIY contests to rank resets and map additions, this season brings more than ever before.Let’s break down everything coming in Season 2, launching June 26, 2025.
Range Skin Testing Coming in FragPunk Season 2 Chapter 2
One of the most requested features is finally arriving in Chapter 2: skin testing before purchase. For example, players will be able to try weapon skins in a shooting range before spending Frag Coins. This lets you preview cosmetics and avoid wasting currency on items you don’t love. Note: This feature is not included in Chapter 1 but is confirmed to be in active development.
New Sticker Loadout System + DIY Weapon Contest
Launching in Chapter 1, a brand-new sticker loadout system will allow players to:
- Create and save custom sticker sets
- Equip them on weapons
- Share designs with others
To celebrate the feature, FragPunk is running a DIY weapon design contest. The top 5 designs (stickers + charms) will win: 88,888 Frag Coins and Official FragPunk merchandise

Frequent Updates & Bug Fixes
Expect improved game performance this season. The developers have promised 2–3 updates per week throughout FragPunk Season 2, with bug fixes, optimization, and quality-of-life improvements rolling out regularly.
Additionally, the devs are committing to 2–3 updates per week, including:
- Performance improvements
- Bug fixes
- Quality-of-life enhancements
Outbreak Mode is receiving special attention, with balancing and faster XP gains promised.
New Snowy Map & Polar Bear Lancer “Hurricane”
Meanwhile, a brand-new snow-themed map is also on the way, designed with snowy terrain and areas with high ground elements. Alongside this, a new lancer called “Hurricane”—with polar bear armor—was teased in a recent FragPunk esports event.
This new map and lancer are expected to be available early in FragPunk Season 2, making for an exciting new competitive experience.
Event Rewards & Frag Coin Discount Vouchers
Multiple in-game events are planned for this season, including earnable discount vouchers for Frag Coins. You can also expect reward-based events featuring cosmetics, boosters, and limited-edition collectibles.
It’s a great time for both new and returning players to jump in and earn high-value rewards.
Skin Randomizer Feature (TBA in Chapter 1 or 2)
Another exciting system teased is the skin randomizer. This feature may allow your weapon’s skin and color scheme to change randomly each round. While it’s not confirmed which chapter it will debut in, the devs hinted that it’s currently being tested.
Rank Reset & New Seasonal Rewards
A fresh competitive grind awaits! FragPunk Season 2 will feature a rank reset along with new rewards for each rank tier. Titles, skins, emotes, and Frag Coin bonuses will be available based on performance.
This seasonal reset is designed to keep the ranked ladder competitive and rewarding.
Old Skin Bundle Reruns & Cyber Katana Return
Popular skin bundles from past seasons will be making limited-time reruns. This gives players a second chance to collect rare cosmetics. Most notably, the recently teased Cyber Katana Skin highlighted in our previous post may return as part of an Ultimate-tier skin bundle in Season 2.Or maybe after current “Phantom Feet” prize pool ends.
